NEW YORK - The Solo Para Locos Inc cultural organization hosted a group exhibition with Latino artists at Lehman College's Recital Hall in the Bronx. The exhibition was open to the public this Friday 4 and Saturday 5 November.
The collective was presented within the program of activities of the "Solo Para Locos 2016 Arts Festival", which this year was dedicated to Colombia and the writer Gabriel García Márquez, from whom a portrait of the artist Leudy Espinal was unveiled.
During the exhibition was given a painting workshop by the artists Osmar Pool Ruiz and Persio Minier, in addition to a painting performance by the painter Celestino Ortiz.
The president of Solo Para Locos, Lourdes Batista, thanked the artists for their participation in the Festival.
The group was formed by 14 Latin artists, among them are: Persio Minier, Pablo Palasso, Celestino Ortiz, Leudy, Spinal, Payami, Orlando Comas and Ramona Terrero.
Also participating are Osmar Pool Ruiz, Augusto Gomez, Jimmy Valdez Osaku, Noelia Abreu, Djilas Gomes, Tony Castillo and Nelson Mendosa.
